City Project offers a seven-week immersive discipleship experience for UVA students, aimed at helping you discover what it means to be a lifelong disciple of Christ. During this summer project, you will connect deeply with the local church and will travel nationally and internationally, spending one week in New York City, four weeks in Charlottesville, and two weeks overseas.

City Project starts on May 21th and ends on July 9th.

Great Opportunity – Many college students aspire to follow Jesus after the college years but aren’t sure how to do so practically. City Project offers a supportive “greenhouse” environment for growth, providing practical training on key aspects of the Christian life. You’ll gain hands-on experience in reading the Bible, praying, and sharing the gospel, while also forming deep friendships with fellow believers– something that’s often difficult during the semester.

Great Need – The Bible tells us that the “harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few” (Luke 10:2). With one-third of the world having never heard the gospel, why not use a free summer to share the life-changing message of Jesus with those who desperately need to hear it?

Great God – This may be the most important reason of all: we have a great God who deserves our whole lives, including our summer, and He invites us to seek Him first. So why not dedicate your summer to deepening your relationship with Him?
