Center College

Reach, disciple, and send students to be all-of-life disciples

Center College FAQs

What is Center College?

Center College is our on-grounds college ministry of Center Church. Like other college ministries, there are regular events for community, discipleship, and outreach.

Two values of Center College include a passion for reaching the lost and a desire to be deeply and meaningfully connected to the local church (Center Church).

The university is a ripe mission field and a potent mission force. We hope to reach, disciple, and send many students to be all-of-life disciples!

When does Center College meet?

The weekly large group gathering of Center College is the Sunday Worship Service of Center Church. Rides from Grounds are readily available! We gather with the church at 9:15AM & 11:00AM on Sunday mornings.

Outside of that, groups of students meet together to apply the Word of God and build community weekly with their Missional Communities.

Where does Center College meet?

Each Sunday, students of Center College worship with their Center Church family at 475 Westfield Road, Charlottesville, VA 22901.

Throughout the week smaller groups of students (which we call Missional Communities) meet together, formally or informally, to grow as disciples and make disciples. These meeting places are on or near grounds, depending on the group!

How do I become a Center College Student Leader?

We invest lots of time and care into our Student Leaders, as well as delegate meaningful responsibility and leadership. Our hope is that Student Leaders will be life-long disciples who serve the church and reach the lost for Christ. After getting connected to Center College for about a semester you can apply to join the Student Leadership Team.
