Discipleship Opportunities
Center Kids
We love kids and are passionate about helping parents raise their children in Christ. Each Sunday, kids learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, and age-appropriate environment. Over the course of 3 years, our Center Kids team will teach through the entire Bible using the Gospel Project Curriculum. We take the safety of your child seriously; we utilize a secure check-in system and require background checks and training for all Center Kids volunteers.
Center Students
At Center, we are excited about helping middle and high school students grow in Christ. Our Center Students team is passionate about giving students the opportunity to develop their walk with Jesus through teaching, reflection, conversation, and community. Students are discipled by members of our church who are committed to seeing them grow in their faith and understanding of Biblical truth. We take the safety of your student seriously; we utilize a secure check-in system and require background checks and training for all Center Students volunteers.
The Salt Company
Salt Company is Center Church’s on-grounds ministry at UVA where students can grow in their faith and create life-long friendships. Whether you are a Christian looking to grow deeper in your faith or you aren’t sure what you believe, we’d love to help you make friends and learn more about Jesus.
Missional Communities
A Missional Community (MC) is simply a group of people that makes disciples by both maturing together and reaching others. If you have been in church before, this is the way we do “small groups” or “community groups.” Connecting with an MC is the best way to start building meaningful relationships, growing in Christ, and making a difference in our community.
Discipleship
Center Church offers several regular opportunities for discipleship for those seeking personal growth, spiritual development, and leadership empowerment! We hope to help you thrive in your faith while fostering deep connections within our church community.
Residency
The Center Church Residency is a 2-3 year program during which you will be a full-time member of the Center Church staff team. Your assigned areas of ministry will depend on your residency track, giftings, passions, as well as needs within Center Church.
Missions
